Competitor Comparison

See exactly where you stand against your competitors β€” not based on gut feel, but on real public data.

What is it?

The Competitor Comparison section runs a parallel sentiment analysis on each competitor you specify (or ones PollyX identifies itself), then places them side by side with your own score.

For each competitor, PollyX shows their sentiment score, the key differences in how people perceive them versus you, and where they are outperforming or underperforming relative to your brand.

This is based on the same data sources used for your own report β€” live web searches, news coverage, review platforms and social media β€” applied specifically to each competitor.

Why it matters

You cannot set a meaningful reputation target without knowing where competitors stand. A sentiment score of 6.5 is excellent if the industry average is 5.8, and concerning if your main competitor is at 7.9.

Competitor sentiment gaps reveal specific opportunities. If a competitor is being criticised for poor customer service and you excel at it, that's a differentiator worth amplifying in your marketing. If they're praised for something you haven't invested in, that signals a gap to close.

Competitive intelligence is a standard component of any brand audit or PR strategy. PollyX makes it available instantly, without agencies or consultants.
