Connecting an AI assistant to PollyX (MCP)
Add PollyX as an MCP server in your AI assistant and it can order and read reports and checks for you, using your API key.

What it does
PollyX runs an MCP server, the standard way AI assistants and agents connect to outside tools. Once connected, your assistant can create reports and AI Visibility checks and read the results, so you can ask it things like "Run a PollyX report on our brand in Ireland and summarise the negative themes when it is done."
Connect
You need an API key first: see Getting started with the PollyX API. Then add a remote MCP server to your assistant with:
- URL:
https://pollyx.org/api/mcp - Type: HTTP
- Header:
Authorization: Bearer px_live_your_api_key_here
The API documentation has a ready-made configuration you can copy.
The tools
create_report(1 credit),get_report,list_reportscreate_ai_visibility_check(1 credit),get_ai_visibility_check,list_ai_visibility_checks
Billing and limits are the same as the REST API. Your assistant will ask before running a tool if it is set up to; creating a report or check uses a credit, so keep that confirmation switched on if you want control over spending.
