Notifications and the emails we send
The bell in your dashboard lists everything that happens on your account. These are the emails that go with them, and who they come from.

The notification bell
The bell at the top of your dashboard shows a red count of unread notifications. Open it to see the latest 30; opening it marks them as read. Click a notification to go straight to what it is about. You get a notification when:
- a report or AI Visibility check is ready (with its score), or a check's missing answers have been filled in;
- a scheduled report or tracked check finishes;
- a report or check didn't finish, with what happens next (a free re-run, or your refund);
- a refund is issued, or a failed report's credit is returned;
- a scheduled run is skipped for lack of credits;
- a crisis alert or coverage spike is detected.
Every completed report or check gets a notification even if its email bounces, so the bell is the place to check first.
The emails
- Account emails (confirm your email, reset your password, welcome tips) come from hello@pollyx.org.
- Report emails come from reports@pollyx.org: "Your PollyX report for [brand] is ready" with the PDF attached, AI Visibility checks ready or complete, score alerts for scheduled reports, and a short email whenever a report or check didn't finish or was refunded.
- A weekly brand digest goes out on Mondays if you monitor brands, summarising what moved.
Receipts for payments come from Stripe's Link service, not from PollyX: see Receipts, invoices and VAT numbers.
If our emails are not reaching you, see Not receiving our emails.
