My report failed
A report that fails for a technical reason can be re-run once for free. If the re-run also fails, you are refunded automatically.

"Report generation failed"
Something went wrong while the report was being built, on our side. We tell you in your dashboard and by email, and you are not charged twice for it:
- 1Open the report and choose Retry free. It runs again with everything you entered, at no cost.
- 2If the re-run succeeds, the report opens as normal.
- 3If it fails too, the page says "We couldn't generate this report" and you are refunded automatically.
If you do not retry, you are refunded automatically after 24 hours. The money goes back to how you paid: the card for a card purchase, or the price you paid for the credit if it came from a pack or the API plan. A check from a monthly plan goes back to your monthly allowance, and a credit we gave you for free comes back as a credit.
Trying again after a refund
Choose Create a new report on the failed report: the form opens filled in with what you entered before. Changing the name or adding a location often helps.
"Not enough public data to build a report"
This is different: there was not enough public coverage to analyse, and the money goes back to how you paid. See Not enough public data.
AI Visibility checks
A check that fails is refunded straight away, the same way (back to how you paid, or to your plan's allowance), and we tell you in your dashboard and by email. You can run a new one at any time. Missing answers from one assistant are not a failure: see Why an assistant shows "No answer".
