Important: Ordering opens on December 1, 2026. Until then you can create an account and read the sample check and the sample report.

Start a check

  1. 1Go to AI Visibility in the dashboard menu and choose New check.
  2. 2Fill in Brand details (the fields are explained below). Only the brand name is required.
  3. 3Review The 12 questions we'll ask. You can change them with Edit questions; see Editing the questions.
  4. 4Optional and paid: Add more questions or cities (see Extra questions, cities and daily tracking).
  5. 5Tick the box asking us to start straight away, then choose Run the check (or Continue to payment when you added any).

The fields

  • Brand name (required).
  • Category / industry, used for the "best [category]" question that tests whether assistants name you unprompted. Left blank, the questions say "companies like this".
  • Market, woven into every question so the assistants answer about that market rather than a bigger neighbour. Left blank, the check is global.
  • Competitors (optional, up to 3, separated by commas). The first one is used in the head-to-head question.
  • Your website (optional). Enables the AI-readiness audit. Left blank, PollyX tries the brand's official site from public records.

Cost

A check uses one of your plan's monthly checks if you have a plan, otherwise 1 credit, or €20.99 by card if you have neither. The form says which before you run it. If the check fails, you are refunded automatically.

Timing

Your first result lands within about an hour. You can close the page and come back: it refreshes itself. Any question an assistant fails to answer in time is re-asked automatically 15 minutes, 3 hours and 9 hours later, at no extra cost, and we email you when the check is complete. We never invent an answer to fill a gap: a question that stays unanswered is shown as such, because that is what a buyer asking that assistant would get.

The default questions

Two questions never name your brand ("What are the best [category]…", "Which [category] do people rate highest right now…"): those measure whether assistants recommend you unprompted. The others cover reputation, customer service, a comparison with a competitor, alternatives, complaints, controversies, trust, value for money, "Should I buy from…" and "What should I know before using…".
