Filling in the new report form
Every field on the New Sentiment Report form: what it does, what is required and the limits.

Open the form with New report under Sentiment in the left menu, or with Add brand on your home page. Only the name (or, for a campaign, the hashtag) and What do you want to know? are required.
Company Details
- What is this report about? Brand, Product, Person, Topic or Campaign / hashtag. It changes what the report looks for; see Choosing what a report covers.
- Company or Topic Name. The subject itself. Once you have reported on the same name before, a note says so and the new report is tracked as a follow-up, with a trend line and a comparison of what changed.
- Suggestion card. For well-known names PollyX looks the subject up in public records and offers other names (Add:), its website, and look-alikes to exclude (Not your brand? Exclude:). Click a chip to use it; nothing is applied on its own.
- Industry. Helps the search and the competitor benchmark.
- Location / Market. The home market. Leave it empty, or write Global or Worldwide, for a worldwide report.
- Market scope. Appears once you enter a market: keep the report worldwide with that market weighted most, or restrict it to that market only. See Reporting on a single market.
- Website (optional). Helps PollyX recognise the subject's own accounts, whose posts are never counted as public opinion.
Analysis Focus
- What do you want to know? Your question, answered directly in the report's first chapter. See Asking the report a specific question.
- Your own data (optional, CSV). Your own reviews, support tickets or survey answers, used as clearly labelled first-party evidence. It sharpens the themes and the action plan but never changes the public score, and it is never listed among the public sources. The file needs a column named text, review, comment, feedback or similar (optional source, date and rating columns are read too), up to 200 rows. A report with an uploaded file needs a credit on the account; it cannot be paid for at checkout.
- Competitors (up to 5). Each competitor gets its own comparison in the report.
- Also known as and Not about. Other names to search for, and things that share the name but are not your subject. See Avoiding mix-ups with similar names.
- Sentiment scope. Comprehensive (customers and employees) or Consumers only. See Customers only, or employees too?.
- Add the AI Visibility check. For brands and products, orders the Full Picture for €39.99 or 2 credits.
Generating
Tick the box asking us to start straight away, then choose Generate Report. With a credit, the report starts immediately and you are taken to it. Without one, you go to checkout for this report and it starts once the payment goes through. Reports are written in English.
Tip: Re-running a report you already have? You do not need to retype everything for a failed report: its page has a Create a new report button that fills the form in from the original.
