Reporting on a single market

Enter a market and choose "only" to build the report from that country's news, forums, reviews and social posts alone.

Two choices once you enter a market

Type a country in Location / Market and a Market scope choice appears:

  • Worldwide: "All markets, home market first". Coverage from everywhere, with your market weighted most heavily. Best for brands whose reputation crosses borders.
  • [Your market] only: "Exclude all other markets". News, forums, reviews and social posts from that market only. Coverage of the brand elsewhere is discarded, not down-weighted.

Leave the location empty, or write Global or Worldwide, and the report covers every market.

How a single-market report is restricted

The restriction happens when the sources are collected, not afterwards: news is requested from publications in that country, videos from that country, reviews from the local storefront and so on. Some platforms do not say where a post comes from. For those, posts written in another alphabet from the market's language are dropped, and the analysis judges whether each remaining item is about that market.

A single-market report shows a "[Market] sources only" badge next to its title.

When to use it

Use it when the same brand means different things in different countries (a local subsidiary, a franchise, a separate product range), or when you only sell in one market. Expect fewer sources than a worldwide report, especially for smaller countries.
